April 4
Yesterday was a not so good day for Greg. He tossed his cookies for the first time. I really think it was because he tried to take in too much nourishment. They had gotten on him about losing weight (he's down to 227, & I gained every pound he's lost!), and not drinking enough. So, instead of 1 can of lunch & 1 can of water in his stomach tube, he insisted on adding another can of food.I warned him that his stomach had shrunk, but... So now he's weak again, but we'll get him back!

Randy's Rules of G-tube eating:
1. As with all food - hunger has absolutely nothing to do tube feeding!
2. As with all food - being full is no reason to stop tube feeding!
3. Whoever eats the most cans of Jevity wins!
4. There are few tube formulas that can't be improved by deep frying.
5. There are few tube formulas that can't be improved by white gravy.
6. If you don’t start thinking about lunch immediately after you’ve finished breakfast – something is drastically wrong.
7. If you don’t start thinking about dinner immediately after you’ve finished lunch – something is drastically wrong.
8. If you don’t start thinking about breakfast immediately after you’ve finished dinner – something is drastically wrong.
9. The phrase “No thank you” should never be said around the feeing pole.
Hang in there buddy! When this is all over you and I are heading to Zentner's Daughter to eat a big ribeye steak!
hi Greg and all: Don and I are thinking about you and hope this finds you feeling better. It is a lovely cool spring day here in San Angelo. My 3 puppy girls are running in and out the house chasing each other and then running to me for approval. Since the grass is wet they all need a bath. That gets to be a big job.
Greg you have lots and lots of friends that are holding you close in their hearts. Johnnie Tate
Greg,
I have just started to catch up with all that everyone else already knows...just as it is at home so it is on the internet...I am the last to find out...
My and My family all pray for you to get over this and get back to being yourself and come back to Lubbock with some good stories.
We have a LOT of catching up to do and I know you are just playing sick to keep from doing it...get off your ass and get well fast.

Hi, Greg and Bobbidee!
It's your old retired co-worker Belinda. I just heard about your health problems and wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you and praying every day. I hope your faith will be a comfort and strength to you in the days ahead. What a hard way to lose weight, Buddy!!! Can't taste chocolate! Yuck! Y'all hang tough and I'll be checking in on you regularly.
Love and prayers, Belinda
